👥 Stand with Elizabeth Centre Workers!

✊ Fighting for Fairness Since January 2023

Dear Community Members,

We are reaching out to you today on behalf of the dedicated workers at Elizabeth Centre, owned by Jarlette, who have been tirelessly providing care and support to our loved ones. These essential workers, nearly 100 strong, have been without any wage increase since January 2022 when their collective agreement expired on December 2022 and has not be renewed to this day.

đź”’ Locked in a Struggle for Fair Compensation

Despite their unwavering commitment and hard work, these employees find themselves in a challenging situation, facing the economic pressures of stagnant wages. The cost of living continues to rise, but their pay has remained stagnant, making it increasingly difficult for them to make ends meet.

⚖️Demanding Justice Through Collective Bargaining

The workers at Elizabeth Centre are not asking for special treatment; they are merely demanding fair wages and just compensation for the vital services they provide. They have been actively engaging in collective bargaining negotiations with Jarlette, seeking an agreement that reflects their dedication and the rising economic realities.
