The Health & Safety Committee focuses on protecting the physical and psychological health of members in the workplace.
Responsibilities include:
- identifying and addressing workplace hazards
- supporting Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) representatives
- promoting compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Ontario)
- supporting education, training, and awareness initiatives
- advocating for safer work practices and policies
