There are several grievances in the system right now. The newest ones are for a member being suspended for insubordination towards a lead-hand. It is unfortunate that I cannot get into this in more detail or as much as I would like too, but I'm sure you all pretty much know what it is all about. |

There have been a few unfortunate events that has happened recently. Two of our brothers at Mansour have been terminated. The union is working hard on trying to help these individuals. |
2011 Negotiations for Mansour Mining Supply
Recent talks between the Sudbury Mine Mill and Smelter Workers Union Local 598/CAW and Mansour Mining have resulted in a tentative collective agreement, which the bargaining committee is recommending acceptance. |
