Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

June Update:

It's with sadness that I report that Valmore Ducharme our hoistman passed away last week.

There is not too much new to report that is happening at the mine site since my last report other than:

• We have set some more bargaining dates for a new contract for the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, of July.
• We now have one mechanic back working on site one day a week doing care and maintenance in addition to the ones we got back last month.

Other things happening with the local is that we have started on the construction of a new Union Hall at the Richard Lake Campgrounds.

A tentative contract has been reached for our newest affiliate member "Brinks" who has approximately 1,000 members.
