Dear Members:

Once a month Mine Mill 598/CAW Unit Chair persons meet.  I attended the February 2nd meeting and gave a workplace report. It was interesting to hear what issues other members are facing and the assistance and recommendations provided on how to address their concerns.

Union dues will be deducted off our pay cheques in the near future.  We have received a draft copy of our collective agreement recently to review.  We should have a copy of our C/A's within the next couple of weeks.

A unit membership meeting is scheduled for February 11th at Buddies at 7:30 p.m.  A request from our Local Office to have a Union/Company meeting will be sent to Vicki.  Please tell Michelle or myself if there are any concerns you would like raised at this meeting and we will place it on the agenda.
