Our collective agreement expired on March 3rd, 2013. In light of the fact that we are considered essential services, we cannot strike. So, we must go through our process of negotiations.

Newsletter - November 2011
The ratification meeting and vote was Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011. The tentative agreement was accepted with 65% support.

Press Release - Finlandia Nursing Home
After a meeting and ratification vote on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011, the 140 members at Finlandia Nursing Home ratified and accepted a new two year contract by a 65% margin. The contract expired on March 3rd, 2011.
