To all Mine Mill Local 598/CAW members at the Elizabeth Centre,

On Monday, October 17th, 2011, two ratification meetings were held at Union offices.

The bargaining committee was available to answer all questions and the bargaining committee unanimously recommended acceptance of the tentative agreement.

We are pleased to announce that the membership voted to accept the tentative agreement.

There were no concessions and some gains in the new contract include a wage increase of 3.5% over a two year period, along with improvements to the contract language.

We would like to contratulate all members for your support of the bargaining committee and for all their hard work and dedication to the membership.
