As you may know, we are in the process of creating a CAW Federal Election Factbook that will be sent out to all local unions (including a French version for Quebec) aimed at ensuring Stephen Harper does not get a majority government!  

The issues contained in the Factbook are: Manufacturing & the Economy, Poverty, Health Care, Equality, Pensions, the Environment, the Dollar, Trade and Foreign Takeovers and Canadian Foreign Policy.

The Factbooks will be arriving at all local unions in English Canada early next week with the French ones to follow shortly thereafter. In the meantime, the booklet content has been replicated in printable pdfs which can be found on our NEW website: http://www.caw.ca/en/3658.htm. It is of critical importance that we do everything within our power to ensure these materials get out to our members.

Other materials will be added to the site in the days and weeks to come.  Also, if you know of any other sites whose links should be included for additional information, please let us know. This could include coalition partners, anti-poverty groups, LGBT groups, women’s organizations, youth groups, etc.
