Greetings! This is a call letter to announce the Women Activists, Women in Leadership and the “new” Women in Collective Bargaining one week programs being offered by the P.E.L. Program at the CAW Family Education Centre this spring.

Women’s 2008 Conference Report

Mine Mill 598/CAW was well represented at our National 2008 Women’s Conference held in Port Elgin on August 17th to August 20th.  It was a tremendous success and we know we have a lot of work to do and felt the unity and support from other women in our union.  The speakers knew the facts and challenges we face as women and gave us inspiration to keep breaking down those barriers through acts of democracy.

It is very easy to forget our rich history. We had some strong women who made our lives a lot easier.
