The CAW Skilled Trades Council is offering the Eric John Memorial Bursary in the amount of $1,000. This bursary is awarded to sons and daughters of CAW Skilled Trades Members in good standing, entering their first year of post secondary education. Deadline is September 30, 2012 |

Union Rally - January 21, 2012
On Saturday Jan 21st, there will be a massive days of action rally in London, to support our CAW sisters and brothers at Electro-motive. This is an important rally, because the owner, Caterpillar, a highly profitable company is demanding concessions, such as 50% wage cuts, along with cuts to pensions and benefits. |

A group of employees at Xstrata Nickel Sudbury operations have volunteered to raise funds to help East Africa. This initiative will take place throughout the month of December - a time when many of us celebrate the special season.
