Union Rally - January 21, 2012
On Saturday Jan 21st, there will be a massive days of action rally in London, to support our CAW sisters and brothers at Electro-motive. This is an important rally, because the owner, Caterpillar, a highly profitable company is demanding concessions, such as 50% wage cuts, along with cuts to pensions and benefits. |

Xstrata Nickel Interplant Curling Bonspiel
A curling bonspiel hosted at Falconbridge Curling Club on January 20-22, 2012. Entry fee is $35/curler. There is room for 30 teams. |
Voluntary Initiative - Africa
A group of employees at Xstrata Nickel Sudbury operations have volunteered to raise funds to help East Africa. This initiative will take place throughout the month of December - a time when many of us celebrate the special season. 2011 CAW & CAW Council Bursaries
The CAW National and CAW Council annually offer a total of 25 memorial bursaries to students entering their first year of university or college in the amount of $2,000 each. |
