Bargaining Committee Update

 

Update #3 - January 26th, 2007

 

Late today we have been in contact with the mediator who was asked by the Company to relay a message to us.

 

·        The Company has put their original offer back on the table minus the $4000.00 early signing bonus.

·        They will be costing our counter proposal over the weekend.

·        We will most likely meet again on Monday.

·        We are told that the Vice President of Xstrata Nickel will get involved as of Monday.

 

 

We are available throughout the weekend in case the Company wants to meet.

 

Again our goal is to reach a collective agreement before the February 1, 2007 deadline
