Update – Bargaining 2007
Today, your Bargaining Committee met for
approximately one hour and both sides gave
their opening statement. Tom Datillo and
Hemi Metic assisted our local at this first meeting
for the 2007 Collective Bargaining Phase.
Both sides put forth their proposals of non
monetary issues with the second meeting to take place on
The meeting was very positive and if the meeting
is a sign of what may take place in the coming weeks, we are cautiously
optimistic we will sign a collective agreement that suits the needs of our
local members.
As the process goes forward, we will notify you of the
development that takes place in the upcoming weeks
